Courseload Release Notes - 2.2.7
Readabiity Enhancements
- Direct-to-Course Access - For schools that have a Basic LTI integration with Courseload and their Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard, Moodle, D2L, etc...), users will now be taken from the LMS course page to the corresponding Courseload course page with just 1 click.
- Content Loads to Fill Screen - When a user opens a piece of content in Courseload, that content will now fill the entire width of the web browser’s window.
- Zooming in Closes Side Panels - In order to maximize screen real estate for reading, when a user clicks the "Zoom In" button in Courseload, the side panels will automatically collapse with just one click. Likewise, clicking the "Zoom out" button will bring back the side panels.
- Enhanced Full Screen Mode - In Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, clicking the "Full Screen" button fills the entire computer screen, hides both side panels, and zooms in the content to maximize reading space.
- Disabled Zoom Buttons - The "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" buttons will now automatically become "disabled" when the user has reached the maximum or minimum zoom level for their specific screen resolution.
- Removed Page Fit (Two-Page View) Buttons - Students and faculty rarely used this feature and found it difficult to leverage the two page view on their screens. In order to reduce clutter and confusion, the Page Fit buttons have been removed.
We have also recorded a video screencast describing these enhancements:
