Google recently changed its policy governing the distribution of Chrome extensions, which are used to access Courseload offline. Google now requires that all Chrome extensions be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store, whereas extensions could previously be distributed by the developer of the extension (i.e., Courseload). This change will temporarily impact the Courseload Offline feature. Any user who has not previously installed the offline app on his or her Chrome browser will be unable to access offline course materials through Courseload.
Courseload is creating a new offline extension that complies with Google's new distribution policy. The new extension will be available soon. We will update the offline access instructions embedded within Courseload as appropriate at that time.
